Shelter Island Friends of Music will present the Linden String Quartet on Saturday at 8 p.m. at the Shelter Island Presbyterian Church at 32 North Ferry Road (Route 114). The quartet will perform music by Haydn, Bolcom, and Mendelssohn. A meet-the-artists reception with refreshments will follow. Admission is free, but donations will be welcomed.
