An online auction of artist-designed surfboards for the benefit of LongHouse Reserve in East Hampton will culminate Saturday with a party at that venue from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The boards can be previewed and bids submitted at paddle8.com.

Organized in conjunction with LongHouse’s current exhibition, “Surf Craft: Design and the Culture of Board Riding,” the auction includes boards by Richard Phillips, Caio Fonseca, Peter Dayton, Isca Greenfield-Sanders, Scott Bluedorn, Fitzhugh Karol, Greg Fadell, Darius Yektai, and Carl Ekstrom, whose surfboard was inspired by fabric designed by Jack Lenor Larsen, the founder of LongHouse.

Tickets to the party, which will include cocktails, a luau menu, and live music, are $20, $10 for members and LongHouse contemporaries. All proceeds will benefit LongHouse’s public programs.
