Lift Hampton in Wainscott, once a by-appointment-only personal training facility, will now be open daily as a full-service gym and is planning to expand later this spring.

Kimberly French, who has managed martial arts centers and is known for her Flow yoga classes that fuse martial arts, yoga, and therapeutic moves, has taken over as manager of Lift Hampton. In addition to being certified as a personal trainer and weight management consultant by the American Council on Exercise, she is a black belt in jiujitsu, a reiki practitioner, and a registered yoga teacher and therapist-in-training.

The gym is owned and operated by Ken Fitzgerald and has over 50 certified personal trainers and physical therapists in Wainscott, Westhampton Beach, and New York, including a surfing and snowboard instructor, a golf mechanics coach, a physical therapist aide, and a sports athletic trainer.
