While more details remain to be announced, the big news from Guild Hall this week is that the renovation of the John Drew Theater will retain the circus tent motif and balloon chandelier, while at the same time improving audiovisual technology, lighting, and audience and artist experiences. Peter Pennoyer Architects is leading the entire renovation of the theater, in collaboration with the performance venue consultants Auerbach Pollock Friedlander.

Progress is being made in the galleries, offices, and community spaces, Guild Hall has announced. Work on improving exterior walkways, lighting, and plantings will be visible throughout the fall and winter.
