Comedy and Motown
Both All Star Comedy and Dr. K's Motown Revue will return to Sag Harbor's Bay Street Theater this weekend, starting Friday at 8 with a promised "hysterical lineup" of JP Justice, Tracey Carnazzo, and Kevin Israel.

Mr. Justice, who will host the evening, has been a headliner at clubs like Caroline's on Broadway and has opened for Chris Rock, Bernie Mac, and the Wayans Brothers. Ms. Carnazzo had performed at festivals such as the New York Comedy Festival, while Mr. Israel won the Gilda Radner Laugh-off in 2013 and has contributed to Perez Hilton and TMZ.

Tickets are $35 and $45.

Dress up and boogie at Bay Street's Halloween Dance Party with Dr. K's Motown Revue on Saturday at 8 p.m. The band will recreate the music of the Temptations, Marvin Gaye, the Supremes, Smokey Robinson, and many more. First and second prizes will be awarded for best costumes. Tickets start at $35.

Seed Bombs and More
Jill Musnicki and Erica-Lynn Huberty, whose work is in the "Garden of Friends" exhibition at the Leiber Collection in Springs, will be there with Bebe Huberty, a dancer, on Wednesday afternoon at 3 for "Seed Bombs and Wilding at the Waning Harvest Moon."

The artists will be on hand in the garden to "inspire concepts of re-wilding," while Ms. Huberty will perform an original dance. The program is "in honor of the earth and all that needs done to heal it quickly."

After the presentation, audience members can drive to Atlantic Beach to seed-bomb indigenous plantings to help preserve the dunes and attract endangered pollinators. Hot drinks will be served.

Open Call
The Hampton Theatre Company in Quogue will hold auditions for union and non-union performers on Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 5 to 8 for "Strictly Murder," a play by Brian Clemens that will open at the theater on March 7, 2024.

The play is a fast-paced thriller set in Provence, France, in April 1939. Five roles -- three for men, two for women -- are available. Specific information about the characters can be found by following the "audition" link on the theater's website.

Auditions are by appointment and can be scheduled by sending headshots and resumes to [email protected] or calling 631-653-8955. Rehearsals are scheduled to begin on Jan. 29.

Spooky Benefit
The theme of this year's Monster Smash, the fall fund-raiser for The Church in Sag Harbor, is "The Sporting Life," inspired by its summer exhibition, "Strike Fast, Dance Lightly: Artists on Boxing," and its current show, "RE:CYCLE—The Ubiquitous Bike."

That said, the event, set for Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m., is a Halloween dance party, with music courtesy of D.J. Mister Lama, hors d'oeuvres from East Hampton Kitchen, and wine from Channing Daughters Winery. The Church has suggested sports-themed costumes.

Tickets are $140, $120 for members.

Silent Disco
The Southampton Arts Center is celebrating All Hallows Eve with a silent disco dance party on Saturday from 7 to 11 p.m. The event will feature D.J.s and multiple music genres, with three-channel LED-style headphones allowing dancers to change channels to different types of music. Costumes are encouraged.

Tickets are $20, $15 for members, $5 for those 12 and under.

Day of the Dead
The Roses Grove Band will bring the music of the Grateful Dead to the Masonic Temple in Sag Harbor on Friday at 8 p.m. The venue will be decorated for Halloween to get revelers into "the ghoul spirit" while dancing to the music of the jammiest of jam bands.

Tickets are $20.
