Beginning this weekend at the Church in Sag Harbor, in partnership with the Smithsonian Institution's Museum of African American History and Culture, is a three-part series of "dialogues with artistic visionaries." The first, set for Saturday at 4:30 p.m., will feature a conversation between Kevin Young, the director of the museum, and the author Colson Whitehead.
Mr. Whitehead, who spent his formative years in Sag Harbor, is a two-time winner of the Pulitzer Prize, for his novels "The Nickel Boys" and "The Underground Railroad." His honors include a MacArthur Fellowship, a Guggenheim Fellowship, and a Library of Congress Prize for American Fiction.
Saturday's program is sold out; a waitlist can be found on The Church's website.
