The Hamptons International Film Festival has announced a new partnership with the Southampton Playhouse, which opened in February in the former Southampton Cinema. The venue will host screenings of films having their world, U.S., or East Coast premieres.

As part of the festival's Views From Long Island series, on Oct. 11 the Playhouse will show "Arthur Elgort: Models & Muses," about the acclaimed fashion photographer, directed by his son Warren Elgort. It includes archival footage as well as interviews with such cultural icons as Anna Wintour, Christy Turlington, Cindy Crawford, and Grace Coddington.

The Playhouse will also hold a special screening of F.W. Murnau's 1922 silent classic "Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror," with a live score performed by the Invincible Czars, on Oct. 9. Widely recognized as a cornerstone of horror cinema, "Nosferatu" was the first film to show a vampire drying from exposure to sunlight.

Additional screenings at the Southampton Playhouse will be announced.
