Kudos for Bates Masi

Fri, 05/31/2019 - 16:17

Bates Masi + Architects of East Hampton has won a National Housing Award from the American Institute of Architects for the second year in a row. The award is for a house by the firm on Georgica Cove in East Hampton. The firm is one of three winners in the category, which recognizes standouts among single and two-family custom residences across the country by United States architects.

“The jury evaluates whether designs are sustainable, affordable, durable, innovative, socially impactful, meeting client needs, and addressing the natural and built contexts,” according to Bates Masi.

The firm will be honored along with other award winners at the A.I.A. national convention in Las Vegas on June 7.
