Summer’s almost over, kids — school is right around the corner.
Tuesday is the first day of classes in the East Hampton School District, as well as at the Amagansett School, where the calendar closely mirrors East Hampton’s. Bridgehampton School students also return on Tuesday.
Wednesday is the first day back for students of Sag Harbor schools, as well as Wainscott School and Sagaponack School. The first day at the Montauk School and the Springs School is next Thursday.
Calendars also differ for area private schools. Ross Lower School students begin on Wednesday, while Upper School classes start next Thursday. The Hayground School begins classes on Wednesday, Sept. 11.
