Avenues: the World School, a for-profit private school that is new to East Hampton, announced last week that it is expanding its offerings and opening a second campus here.

According to a school spokeswoman, Avenues will now admit students in first through 11th grades, as opposed to the previous fifth-through-11th structure, and it has the capacity for 30 to 45 additional students. Also, along with the campus it is opening at the Hamptons Country Day Camp, Avenues will open a site at East Hampton Indoor Tennis.

While the Hamptons Country Day Camp concludes its summer programs, East Hampton Indoor Tennis has already been hosting 60 children who started in the Avenues program last week.

"While we originally thought this would be a short-term arrangement, I'm pleased to announce it will become long-term," Scott Rubinstein, an owner of the tennis club wrote in an email to members. "The interest in Avenues Studio has been significant during these challenging times as families work to figure out the best school experience for their child."

Avenues students are admitted to all of the school's campuses, which are located in Manhattan, Sao Paulo, and Shenzhen, China. It also has an online component.

Tuition to the private school is expected to be $48,000.
