Virtual Reality Comes to Sag Harbor

Registration is open now for an afternoon of virtual reality activities for kids 10 and up at The Church, the arts center in Sag Harbor. The Jan. 12 program will be offered through a partnership with the Long Island Science Center.

From 4 to 5 p.m., children will be able to use Oculus Quest, a virtual reality system, to immerse themselves in undersea adventures, outer space environments, remote regions of the world, and more. Each participant will have two 15-minute sessions during the hourlong event.

The Church advises families that V.R. programs are not suitable for kids who experience nausea, epilepsy, or seizures. Admission is $5 per child. More details and a sign-up link are online at thechurchsagharbor.org.
