All for Teens at the East Hampton Library

A new photography contest for teens at the East Hampton Library is all about capturing “the beautiful summer vibes of community.”

From tomorrow through July 31, kids entering grades nine through 12 can submit two photos of flowers via email to [email protected]. The subject line should say “Bloom Photography Contest.”

The winner of the contest will receive a Fujifilm Instax Mini Link smartphone printer, and all of the entries will be displayed in the library’s young adult room.

Also for teens, this weekend’s take-and-make community service project is origami bookmark corners to be given out to the Y.A. room’s visitors. Materials can be picked up between 3 and 5 p.m. tomorrow. Teens can also rack up community service hours by helping older adults learn how to use their tablets, smartphones, social media, and other devices and apps. This week’s session is from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday.

For fans of the TV show “Stranger Things,” a watch party will take place on Saturday from 5 to 6:30 p.m. There will also be a Nintendo Switch gaming session on Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m.
