‘Peter’ at the Park and Museum

Dancers from the Hampton Ballet Theatre School will perform “Peter and the Wolf,” accompanied by the Hampton Festival Orchestra, on Saturday at Herrick Park in East Hampton Village and Tuesday at the Children’s Museum of the East End.

The ballet, with a score by Sergei Prokofiev and choreography by Sara Jo Strickland, the director of the Bridgehampton dance school, features different musical soloists representing animal characters in the story and a surprise guest narrator from the community.

Shows are at 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. both days. The Herrick Park rain date is Sunday, while the CMEE rain date is Wednesday. Tickets cost $20 in advance and $25 at the door for the Herrick Park shows, with “premium” boxes and “preferred” family seating starting at $100. Admission is $20 at CMEE.

Tickets can be bought online at hamptonballettheatreschool.com. Questions can be directed to 888-933-4287 or [email protected].
