With its new production, “Our Fabulous Chrismukkah Carol: A Holiday Rewrite,” coming to Guild Hall this weekend, Our Fabulous Variety Show flips the script on the story of Scrooge as originally told by Charles Dickens.

The show features a script that is “more inclusive of different holiday celebrations and cultures and modernized to today,” according to the producers. In the show, “Benny,” the son of Ebenezer Scrooge, navigates relationships with friends and family members in the wake of an unexpected situation.

The production promises “show-stopping dance routines, classic holiday tunes sung by Dickens-style carolers, and full of comedic relief; this inclusive holiday tale is fun for the whole family showcasing Christmas and Hanukkah traditions.”

Show times are 7 p.m. tomorrow; 6 p.m. on Saturday, with a special Rainbow Holiday Cabaret drag variety show at 8 p.m., and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets range from $17.50 to $50 and can be bought online via ofvs.org.

In other holiday-spirit news, the Hampton Ballet Theatre School’s annual “Nutcracker” show will take place on Friday, Dec. 13, through Dec. 15 at Guild Hall. Show times are Friday, Dec. 13, at 7; Saturday, Dec. 14, at 1 and 7, and Sunday, the 15th, at 2 p.m. Tickets start at $37.85; a link to obtain them can be found on the ballet school’s website.
