High-Fashion Puppets

Puppets and purses have little in common, save for their respective charms, but together they'll make for a fun mashup at the Leiber Collection Museum in Springs on Sunday with Liz Joyce of Goat on a Boat Puppet Theatre.

The museum venue's eponymous couture purse collection, fashion paintings, and sculpture garden are meant to inspire kids of all ages as they make their own puppets.

The two-hour workshop is free, but registration ahead of time is required at bit.ly/3Wn2Y40. There will be another session offered the following Sunday, Aug. 11, as well. The museum is otherwise open Saturday, Sunday, and Wednesday from 1 to 4 p.m.
