During Winter Spirit Week before the holiday, Springs School teachers dressed like students and students dressed like teachers. Lucas Gonzalez

Springs School recently had its annual Winter Spirit Week. Every year, the school celebrates by giving students a fun week to dress up and be creative with their holiday outfits.

This year, there were some fresh ideas, thanks to the new executive student council. On Dec. 16, the students donned their finest attire. On Dec. 17, it was Teacher Student Switch-Up Day. Many teachers dressed up as humorous versions of students, and students also dressed up as teachers. This was a favorite of most students and staff members. Dec. 18 was Aloha Day, when teachers and students dressed in tropical and floral attire. The student council surprised students and staff when they distributed multicolored leis to everyone. On Dec. 19, it was Holiday Dress-Up Day. Students and staff wore Christmas sweaters and Santa hats to school. On Dec. 20, it was Pajama Day, and many students wore their festive holiday pajamas including some onesies to school.

The week before holiday break certainly was a fun one, and holiday cheer filled the hallways.
