As the weather warms, opportunities for outdoor activities for kids are also heating up. New offerings beginning next week include an after-school sailing program at the Breakwater Yacht Club in Sag Harbor and tennis clinics at the Amagansett Youth Park.

Sailing sessions will be on Mondays and Fridays from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. from this Monday through June 9. They are open to any interested students, regardless of whether they have past experience on the water. The cost is $125, and registration is through the yacht club’s website.

The East Hampton Town Recreation Department’s spring tennis clinics for kids in kindergarten and up will begin next week at the youth park on Abraham’s Path. Hourlong clinics for kindergartners and first graders will be on Mondays at 4 p.m. through June 16. Clinics for second through fourth graders will happen on Wednesdays at 4 through June 18, and tennis for those in grades five and up will be on Fridays, also at 4, through June 20. The cost for the full season is $45. Registration is through the Recreation Department at ehamptonny.gov.
