Last-minute holiday meals can still be had on the South Fork.

Last Minute Christmas
Lollygaggers, dawdlers, and procrastinators, take note: There are still Christmas meal options aplenty at Citarella, with locations in East Hampton, Bridgehampton, and Southampton. Its menu for the holidays, available online or in the store, is so extensive it has a table of contents.

Although the time for ordering its catering options for Christmas Eve and Christmas meals have passed, the market still has a good deal of raw and cooked materials for sumptuous feasts. For Christmas Eve, the feast of seven fishes can be crafted from clams, cooked and cleaned shrimp, lobsters, oysters, and other fresh seafood.

For Christmas day, there is turkey, capon, goose, plenty of cuts of beef, and even game options. There are also myriad choices for side dishes, desserts, appetizers, and the like, prepared or to be made at home. Desserts range from buche de Noel to panettone, Christmas cupcakes and cookies, and the usual sweets.

Don't forget cheese, charcuterie, and breakfast and brunch pastries.

A fuller menu of catered options is available for New Year's Eve and Day with an ordering deadline of Friday, Dec. 29.

A Topping Rose Christmas
Friday night, Topping Rose House will have a celebration dedicated to local families, who are invited to enjoy s'mores and hot chocolate at 5 p.m. with outdoor holiday decorations and music. Some specialty cocktails will be available for those 21 and older. The A.L.C. clothing brand will also be on site for some last-minute shopping.

The restaurant Jean-Georges at Topping Rose House will offer dinner on both Christmas and Christmas Eve with a three-course meal created by the chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. A menu is on the website and reservations are available through Resy. The cost is $168 per person.

Christmas in Southampton
The Southampton Inn will have some special events and pricing for Christmas and New Year's. Beginning on Friday through Dec. 31, reservations will be eligible for 23 percent off a connecting room for family stays. There will also be a Christmas Eve breakfast and brunch on Sunday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Christmas breakfast on Monday from 8 to 11. New Year's Eve brunch on Dec. 31 will be from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. New Year's Day brunch happens from 8 to 3 with reservations required.
