Wood-burning oven pizzas are back on the menu Sundays through Thursdays at Nick and Toni's.

Long Island Restaurant Week
One of the highlights of the off-season is the triannual Long Island Restaurant Week, which is returning Sunday for an eight-day run. Restaurants can offer a $24 two-course prix fixe lunch, and three-course prix fixe dinners priced at $29, $39, or $46. Participating eateries are required to offer three options per course (appetizer, entree, dessert) for dinner. The prix fixe dinners must be available all night every night from Sunday to Sunday, except for Saturday, when the cut-off time is 7.

Participants on the South Fork include Nick and Toni's, Moby's, and Cove Hollow Tavern in East Hampton, Coche Comedor in Amagansett, Bobby Van's in Bridgehampton, Page at 63 Main in Sag Harbor, and Captain Jack's on the Coast in Noyac. Opting in in Southampton are the Indian restaurant Saaz, Shippy's, and Union Burger Bar, and in Water Mill the specials will be offered at Bistro Ete and Calissa.

A complete list of participants can be found at longislandrestaurantweek.com. The website is also the place where diners can access the Gift Card Giveaway for a chance to win one of three gift cards to be redeemed at a participating restaurant of their choice.

Wine Workshops
Honest Man Hospitality and Wainscott Main Wines and Spirits have partnered to offer their 11th season of Wine Wednesday workshops at Nick and Toni's restaurant. Classes are held Wednesday evenings from 5:30 to 7 in the restaurant's back dining room and include tasting sheets, crystal tasting stems, and small plates from the kitchen.

Next up on Wednesday is the Rhone Zone and Beyond, led by Bertrand Blanchez, portfolio manager for France and Germany for Banville Wine Merchants. Classes will continue through Dec. 11, except for Nov. 27. The complete schedule of topics and hosts can be found on Nick and Toni's website. Tickets are $35 per week. Space is limited so reservations are strongly encouraged.

Pizza Is Back
Speaking of Nick and Toni's, the restaurant has announced the return of its wood-oven pizzas, which are now available Sunday through Thursday for dining in or taking out. Quartinos of select wines are also available for $11.

The pizza options are margherita (pomodoro, house-made mozzarella, basil), patate al forno (roasted potato, stracchino, rosemary), stracciatella (tomato confit pesto, prosciutto, caramelized shallots), and salsiccia (pork sausage, ragu, bechamel, smoked provolone, basil).

Are You Feeling Lucky?
Almond restaurant is rolling out an unusual special: Dice Night. Every Thursday night, one diner per check will be presented with a die and asked to pick a number between one and six. If that number is rolled, the meal is on the house.

Vegan Chili
Nikki's Not Dog Stand in Sag Harbor continues to broaden its menu, now offering fully vegan chili. The chili is also featured on both the Detroit dog and Carolina burger, two of the eatery's most popular dishes.

Vinyl and Hot Sauce
Tomorrow the Sagaponack Farm Distillery's Friday Happy Hour will welcome D.J. Mister Lama, who will spin vinyl from 5 to 8. Cocktail specials, local beer, and snacks will be on offer.

Springs Fireplace Hot Sauce will bring its incendiary offerings to the distillery on Saturday from 2 to 6 p.m. The hot pepper celebration will feature collaborative cocktails, and the Mattitaco food truck will be on hand.
