Nick and Toni's in East Hampton has announced a new two-course pizza and pasta prix fixe and its Thanksgiving to-go menu.
The pizza and pasta special is available all night every Monday, beginning at 5:30, except during holiday weekends. The appetizer options are a romaine salad with garlic croutons, Grana Padano, and Caesar dressing, or a wild arugula and shaved fennel salad with Pecorino Romano, and red wine vinaigrette.
Entrees are a wood-fired Margherita pizza with pomodoro, house-made mozzarella, and basil, or spaghetti alla carbonara with prosciutto di Parma, a farm egg, and Grana Padano.
The cost is $32, and quartinos of wine are $11.
Thanksgiving to-go orders must be placed by Nov. 25 at noon for pickup on Nov. 27 between 3 and 5 p.m. The offerings, which serve two or three guests, include rosemary and sea salt focaccia, baby kale salad, lasagna, turkey braciole, fennel and leek stuffing, roasted brussels sprouts, roasted seasonal mushrooms, maple sweet potato puree, red wine turkey gravy, and tartufo for dessert. Prix Fixe at Fresno
A new prix fixe menu will be available at Fresno restaurant in East Hampton Sunday through Thursday from 5 to 6 p.m. at the bar and in the dining room. The menu, priced at $49, starts with a choice of soup, artisanal green salad, Caesar salad, or Prince Edward Island mussels.
The main courses are chicken Milanese with mesclun, cherry tomatoes, goat cheese, and slow-roasted tomato sauce; rigatoni Bolognese with beef, veal, pork, San Marzano tomatoes, Parmesan, and crushed red pepper; vegan grilled maitake mushrooms with crushed Yukon potatoes, baby spinach, and chermoula; pan-seared Scottish salmon with black forbidden rice, sauteed baby bok choy, and mango coconut sauce, and a fully loaded Fresno burger or Beyond Burger.
Desserts are warm flourless chocolate cake or vanilla creme brulee.
Fresno will also host Date Night every Wednesday and Thursday, featuring the restaurant's $30 wine list, and happy hour from 5 to 6 p.m. Sunday through Thursday at the bar.
Homemade Potato Chips
Art of Eating's homemade potato chips are now available to buy online and at local farm stands. The chips are made from local potatoes, cooked in small batches in Bridgehampton, dried, drained, and dusted with sea salt.
Large bags, which serve 10 to 12 people, are available from the Art of Eating website for $39.75. A three-pack consisting of classic, sweet potato, and garlic parsley chips is $35.
