Wine for the Ladies
Wolffer Estate Vineyard will have a ladies night every Thursday in its Sagaponack tasting room beginning next week. From 5 to 7 p.m., four wines by the glass will be $10. They are Summer in a Bottle White, Summer in a Bottle Long Island Rose, Summer in a Bottle Cotes de Provence Rose, and Finca Wolffer Malbec.

The winery will also offer a special cocktail, the Pink Lady, with raspberry, gin, lemon, and mint for $12. Small plates such as Italian flatbread, a charcuterie board, and a baguette with olives are $15 each. 

Reservations are recommended and can be made on the winery's website.

Say Cheese (or Caviar), Day or Night

Self Provisions, a storefront attached to Cavaniola’s Gourmet Cheese in Sag Harbor, is “always open,” as is proclaimed by an illuminated sign on the wall at the entrance. Two large, brightly lit vending machines dominate the space, with offerings ranging from sea salt crackers and slabs of French butter to jars of caviar and curated gift boxes — and, of course, cheese.

Lulu Kitchen and Bar in Sag Harbor is offering New Year’s Eve dinner packages to go, and the Ram’s Head Inn on Shelter Island will serve a New Year’s Eve prix fixe and can host private parties any night of the week.
