A spring Long Island Restaurant Week will take place from April 7 through April 14. While the South Fork participants' list is short, the weeklong promotion boasts some great deals on top dining spots. The deal is the same as recent iterations. Participants must offer two courses at lunch and three at dinner and there must be at least three choices per course. Lunch is $24 and dinner can be charged at $29, $39, and $46 at the discretion of the dining establishment.

Most of the South Fork restaurants are not offering lunch and sticking to a $46 prix fixe menu. Exceptions are Saaz and Southampton Publick House in Southampton and Il Buco al Mare in Amagansett, which will all offer a lunch menu. Saaz and the Publick House will also have lower priced menus for dinner. Saaz, an Indian restaurant, is offering meals at all three price points. The Publick House has a $39 menu. Joining them is Captain Jack's on the Coast in North Sea at the longtime location of Coast Grill. It, too, will have a $39 set menu for the week.

Closer to home, Nick and Toni's has announced its $46 menu for the week and it includes a Caesar-style salad, shaved asparagus, burrata with tomato broth, and prosciutto with whipped ricotta for appetizers. Entree choices are spaghetti al limone, oven-roasted salmon, roasted chicken, and grilled hanger steak. Dessert is tartufo, tiramisu, blood-orange sorbet, and homemade gelato.

Il Buco also has a $46 dinner menu, as do Calissa and Bistro Ete in Water Mill. The website has the latest updates of participants and includes some menus. The restaurants have the choice to limit the promotion until 7 p.m. on Saturday. Reservations are recommended by calling the restaurants or visiting their websites. Prices do not include tax or tip.
