Angie Mar at the Parrish
In connection with its exhibition “The Art of Food,” the Parrish Art Museum in Water Mill has announced a benefit event, Canvas & Cuisine, set for May 26 at 6:30 p.m.
While guests can take in the more than 100 artworks in the exhibition, the cuisine component will be a four-course menu by Angie Mar, the renowned chef at Le B. in the West Village, where she made her name at the Beatrice Inn and Les Trois Chevaux. The meal will be supplemented by private collection wines from Sotheby’s and Wolffer Estate Vineyard.
Tickets are $1,500.
Change at Buttero
Dopo Buttero in East Hampton will pivot from Italian to French-Asian cuisine when it reopens next Thursday, thanks to Cedric Vongerichten, the chef at Wayan and Ma.de restaurants in SoHo, who will be in charge this summer at Buttero with his wife, Ochi Vongerichten.
The Vongerichtens come by the Asian influence honestly, as Ochi is Indonesian, and Cedric was born in Thailand, where his father, Jean-Georges, was a chef at the time. Among the menu items diners can expect are lobster noodles, local corn fritters, and crispy pork ribs.

Spirit-Based Seltzers
Talkhouse Encore, a line of spirits-based seltzers inspired by the Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett, has announced the launch of its new iced tea and lemonade vodka soda and a variety pack.
The new offering is made with premium vodka, real fruit juice, and has no artificial flavoring or added sugar. With an alcohol by volume of 5 percent, it pays homage to the East End classic known as Bonac Tonic, a blend of freshly brewed iced tea and lemonade, according to a release.
In addition to the new release, the variety pack includes blood orange tequila soda, lime vodka soda, and grapefruit tequila soda.
