Thu, 08/31/2023 - 02:49

The East Hampton Town Trustees will meet at 5:30 p.m. Friday in Town Hall with the intention of immediately voting to go into a closed session to talk with legal counsel about an ongoing dock inventory. The regular meeting will begin as scheduled, at 6:30 p.m.

In other trustee news, the Largest Clam Contest will be judged on Sept. 24 in a new venue, the Life-Saving Station on Atlantic Avenue in Amagansett, from noon to 3 p.m.

And, for Lake Montauk boaters, the Montauk self-serve pumpout station will be closed as of Tuesday for the installation of a new, upgraded holding tank. The installation may take two to three days.
