Early voting begins on Saturday, and there are locations in East Hampton and Southampton where registered voters can cast ballots through Nov. 3.

In East Hampton, the early voting site is at the Windmill Village community room on Accabonac Road. The Southampton spot is 39 Tuckahoe Road on the Stony Brook Southampton campus. They will each be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, and from noon to 8 p.m. next Thursday and Friday, Nov. 1. On the weekend of Nov. 2 and 3, early voting hours will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

On Election Day, Nov. 5, voting will take place at the regular polling places.

Saturday is also the deadline to register to vote. This can be done online at elections.ny.gov, or in person through tomorrow at the Suffolk County Board of Elections headquarters at 700 Yaphank Avenue in Yaphank, or at state agencies including the Department of Motor Vehicles at 200 Old Country Road in Riverhead. Questions about voting or registering to vote can be directed to the county board of elections at 631-852-4500.
