Fun on the Farm

Sylvester Manor's hands-on activities and in-person family tours will continue through Sept. 26 on Shelter Island. Families of up to five can take advantage of Farm Exploration sessions on Tuesdays at 9 and 10 a.m. for $60 per family. Ninety-minute private tours for up to six people are held on Saturdays at 1 and 3 p.m. and cost $200 per family.

At its farm stand, Sylvester Manor is offering a free brochure called "Seek and Find: A Kids Walk and Gathering Guide" to accompany its storybook walk. Information on this and all other programs can be found online at sylvestermanor.org.

Music and Tie-Dye at the Library

Katherine C.H.E., a singer and songwriter, will give an outdoor concert of children's music under the tent at the East Hampton Library today at 10 a.m. Masks for children ages 2 and up are required, as is social distancing, and blankets to sit on have been suggested.

Also outdoors at the library, teenagers can make tie-dye masks from 3 to 4:30 p.m. on Monday. All materials will be provided. And on Tuesday, from 4 to 5 p.m., the library will hold a bring-your-own-kaffeeklatsch in the courtyard for teens. Sign-up for all programs is at easthamptonlibrary.org.

Passenger Safety

A family-friendly virtual presentation on passenger safety in cars will happen tonight at 6 through the John Jermain Memorial Library in Sag Harbor. Tomorrow at 5 p.m., there will be a remote cooking lesson for teens in honor of Stuffed Green Pepper Day. More information is online at johnjermain.org.
