East Hampton and Southampton Towns are offering free Covid-19 rapid antigen home test kits to residents this week and next.
To provide kits to as many people as possible, each household will be limited to a maximum of two test kits, each containing two tests.
In East Hampton, kits will be distributed at Town Hall on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and again next Tuesday from 4 to 7:30 p.m., or until supplies run out.
Test kits will also be distributed at the administrative trailer at the town’s senior citizens center on Springs-Fireplace Road on Friday between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., or while supplies last.
In Southampton Town, kits will be available at the Bridgehampton Community Center next Wednesday, at Town Hall next Thursday, and at the Hampton Bays Community Center on Feb. 28. Distribution hours will be from 10 a.m. to noon and from 4 to 6 p.m. at each location, also while supplies last.
Those who cannot obtain the free kits through the towns can order them online at covidtests.gov.
