The Y.M.C.A. East Hampton RECenter’s children’s programs and camp will benefit from a 5K run and walk on Saturday beginning at 9 a.m. at Main Beach. The overall winner will get a full-year adult Y.M.C.A. membership and a Y gift basket. There will be medals for the top three male and female age-group finishers, with the youngest category being 15 and under and the oldest 80 and above.
The registration fee is $33.80 for adults and $18.28 for those 17 and under in advance at by clicking here. On race day that increases to $38.98 and $23.45. Bibs can be picked up at the Y tomorrow between 4 and 6 p.m. or at Main Beach on Saturday beginning at 8 a.m.
