Tryouts for the Hurricanes, a competitive youth swimming program at the Y.M.C.A. East Hampton RECenter, are set for Monday and Tuesday from 4 to 5 p.m.
The coach, Tom Cohill, suggests arriving 15 minutes early to complete sign-in paperwork.
In 2022 and 2023 the Hurricanes won the New York State Y.M.C.A. swimming championship; earlier this year, the team finished in second place in the state.
