Talk on 'Wait Until 8th' Movement

The Sag Harbor Elementary School PTA, along with Gary Osborne, an art teacher, and Traci Robinson, a parent, will host a talk Thursday at 7 at the school about the Wait Until 8th movement in schools.

Wait Until 8th is a national effort to urge parents to not give their children smartphones and similar devices until kids are in eighth grade. Sag Harbor’s discussion will focus on “smartphone use and technology management for families and children,” according to an announcement. The event will take place in the first-floor art room at Sag Harbor Elementary.
