For all those furry friends out there . . .
Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons

After getting in touch with South Fork food banks and determining that there is a great need here for cat and dog food donations, the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons will hold a pet food drive on Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. at its adoption center at 124 Daniel's Hole Road in East Hampton.

ARF will accept only unopened bags of either wet or dry food and treats, which will be received in the adoption center's cargo vans, according to an announcement. The supplies will be delivered directly to food pantries in Sag Harbor, East Hampton, and Montauk.

Out of caution, towels and bedding will not be accepted. Neither will donations at any other time or day because of shortages of storage space and staff, ARF said.

In a video posted on YouTube, Scott Howe, ARF's executive director and chief executive officer, thanked all who have stepped forward to support the group during the pandemic.

Deep History in Sag Harbor Headstones’ Restoration
