This year for Martin Luther King's Birthday, celebrated on Monday, Calvary Baptist Church will live-stream its service on YouTube, beginning at 1 p.m., with singing, dancing, speeches, and remarks from the Rev. Dr. Walter Silva Thompson Jr., the church's senior pastor.
The event's theme is "Restore the Dream, Love, Serve, and Celebrate."

Joe Bloecker, a member of the Montauk Friends of Erin for over 30 years and its president for 10, has been chosen to lead the group’s 2025 St. Patrick’s Day Parade as grand marshal.
