The East Hampton Historical Farm Museum at the corner of North Main and Cedar Streets has invited Santa for a visit and photo opportunities on Thursday evening from 4 to 6.
There will also be caroling, children’s activities, hot chocolate, and soft pretzels at the property, which will be decorated with holiday lights for the occasion. There is no charge to attend, but donations will help to support the museum’s various activities.
“One of the things that I struggle with is people saying the AIDS crisis is a thing of the past, as if the time to remember is something for the past,” said Tom House, the founder of Hamptons Pride, which is bringing quilts from the National AIDS Memorial to the East Hampton Presbyterian Church next week.
