This year's African-American Read-In in Sag Harbor takes place tomorrow starting at 6 p.m. in the John Jermain Memorial Library's rotunda. The theme is Black resistance.

"Sign up to read a short excerpt from a favorite work: fiction, nonfiction, poetry, oral history, or family story," it says on the library's website, where you can register. "All are welcome. Listeners are encouraged!"

Questions can be emailed to [email protected]. The Eastville Community Historical Society and Canio's Cultural Cafe are co-sponsors.
