Calling all local history buffs. The East Hampton Historical Society and the Greater East Hampton Chamber of Commerce are sponsoring a quiz bowl on Tuesday evening at the Palm that will put your knowledge of local history to the test.

Teams, which can include as few as one or as many as five players, will compete for bragging rights from 5:30 to 7:30. The cost is $10 per person for members of the historical society or the chamber and $20 per person for everyone else. Registration is through the historical society's website.

A note: A lecture on the relocation of the Dominy Shops to North Main Street that had been scheduled for Friday, April 12, has been canceled, but the society will offer a tour of the Dominy Shops Museum the next day at noon.
