A Fish Fry Kind of Weekend

Thu, 07/25/2024 - 13:12

There will be two old-fashioned fish fries over the next two days, at Calvary Baptist Church in East Hampton on Friday and at the Eastville Community Historical Society in Sag Harbor on Saturday.

Whiting or catfish, coleslaw, string beans, cornbread, dessert, and drinks will be on the menu at Calvary Baptist Church’s old-fashioned fish fry tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. A $22 donation gets you the meal, and as a bonus the East Hampton Farmers Market will be open on the church grounds from 9 to 1 offering accompaniments or ingredients for another meal. The church is at 60 Spinner Lane.

The Eastville fish fry runs from 4 to 7 p.m. at the society's Heritage House at 139 Hampton Road. A donation of $50 will get you dinner, a beverage, and dessert. Tickets can be purchased by clicking here

Really, really big.
