The Wainscott Sewing Society's popular annual rummage sale is set for Saturday at the Wainscott Chapel from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. "Come find your treasure," the society says on its Facebook page. The sale is a fund-raiser to support the upkeep of the 116-year-old chapel.

Ahead of it, the sewing society is looking for donations of household items in good condition. They can be dropped off on Friday from 9 a.m. to noon at the chapel. The number to call to schedule a different time is 631-537-1330.

All leftover rummage sale merchandise will be put out on the curb and marked "free" at the end of the day.
