Jade Acker is an intern for the East Hampton Star for the summer of 2023. She has grown up on the bay beaches of Springs and also lives with her family in New York City. Jade is a rising junior at NEST+m high school in Manhattan, where she is the school news editor of The Eagle. She is passionate about journalism and hopes to continue reporting in college and beyond.
