Sydney Leon is a rising third-year student at Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. She has explored her passion for juvenile justice and the law through her studies of English and journalism. A native of New York City, she grew up teaching sailing at Sag Harbor’s Breakwater Yacht Club and now sails at a collegiate level.
