Wed, 10/28/2020 - 15:34

Nancy J. Page, a former technician and sales representative for telephone companies, died on Oct. 5 at home in Sag Harbor. She was 74. No cause of death was given.

For more than 30 years, she worked for Verizon and the communications companies that preceded it.

Ms. Page enjoyed traveling and was a member of Hamptons Christian Fellowship in Noyac, formerly Community Bible Church, for more than 50 years, during which time she volunteered for the church's kids camp and helped organize mission events, church luncheons, and conferences.

Born on Feb. 18, 1946, in New York City to Joseph Henry Parker and the former Jean Bratton, she grew up in Ozone Park, Queens, and later East Hampton. She graduated from East Hampton High School in 1963.

She is survived by a daughter, Cindy Page of Boca Raton, Fla., a sister, Eileen Daniels of Sagaponack, and several nieces and nephews.

The family received visitors on Oct. 13 at the Yardley and Pino Funeral Home in Sag Harbor, and a funeral service officiated by Pastor Douglas Kinney of Hamptons Christian Fellowship was held the next day at Oak Grove Cemetery in Amagansett, where Ms. Page was buried.

A memorial Mass will be said on Nov. 29 at 8:15 a.m. at Church of the Assumption in Fairport, N.Y. It will be live-streamed on the church's website. Another Mass will be said on Oct. 4, 2021, at noon at St. Rosalie Catholic Church in Hampton Bays.

Memorial donations have been suggested to Hamptons Christian Fellowship, 2837 Noyac Road, Sag Harbor 11963.
