A funeral for Vindel R. Gaynor of East Hampton will take place on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Hamptons Church at 69 Industrial Road in Wainscott. Ms. Gaynor died unexpectedly at home on Jan. 13 at the age of 52. An obituary will appear in a future issue.
The East Hampton Historical Society broke ground on a climate-controlled collections-storage center at the Mulford Farm last Thursday. It will unite the historical society’s 20,000 archival items — now stored at five separate sites — under one roof.
