Constance Miller Hoagland, a lifelong resident of East Hampton Village, died on Monday at home on Jericho Road. She was 98. A memorial gathering will be held “somewhere on the Maidstone golf course this summer,” her family wrote. An obituary will appear in a future issue.
The East Hampton Historical Society broke ground on a climate-controlled collections-storage center at the Mulford Farm last Thursday. It will unite the historical society’s 20,000 archival items — now stored at five separate sites — under one roof.
