For Robert Brierley Loughead Jr.

A memorial for Robert Brierley Loughead Jr., who died on Aug. 23, 2022, will be held on June 16 at 3 p.m. at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in East Hampton.

Mr. Loughead had been a president and board member of the Village Preservation Society of East Hampton and was a founding member of the board of the East Hampton Healthcare Foundation. He was a committed parishioner and member of the vestry at St. Luke’s. He was a veteran of the Navy and the Air Force and had a long career in the aerospace industry.

He is survived by his daughter, Mary Margaret L. Brenizer, and grandchildren Robert Chase Brenizer, William Loughead Brenizer, and Addison Tucker Brenizer. His wife, Betty, and a son, Robert Brierley Loughead III, died before him. His family has suggested memorial gifts to the Village Preservation Society, P.O. Box 2015, East Hampton 11937.
