Burglary at Georgica

Thu, 05/23/2019 - 07:22

A house in East Hampton Village, at 261 Georgica Road, was burglarized sometime between April 17 and last Thursday, when the homeowner called police.

The intruders had pulled out drawers and entered closets, she reported, and “some inexpensive jewelry” was stolen. She told police that both the kitchen and rear door had been left unlocked on April 17, when an employee last checked the house. Detectives are investigating and have asked that anyone with information call them at 324-0777.

Meanwhile, East Hampton Town police have arrested three men, as reported elsewhere in this issue, in connection with several burglaries across the town.
