Sag Harbor police received a call Friday night reporting a white utility van with ladders on its roof driving erratically on Main Street. Police pulled it over and arrested Jose O. Segarra-Aguirre, 32, of Southampton, who reportedly performed poorly on roadside sobriety tests and refused to take either a field breath test or the Intoxilyzer test at headquarters. Police also charged him with unlicensed driving.

He was released the next morning after posting $200 in bail.

A westbound Long Island Rail Road train approaching the station in East Hampton Village struck a car attempting to cross the tracks at around 7:20 Friday morning at the Newtown Lane and Railroad Avenue crossing.
