Sag Harbor police received a call Friday night reporting a white utility van with ladders on its roof driving erratically on Main Street. Police pulled it over and arrested Jose O. Segarra-Aguirre, 32, of Southampton, who reportedly performed poorly on roadside sobriety tests and refused to take either a field breath test or the Intoxilyzer test at headquarters. Police also charged him with unlicensed driving.

He was released the next morning after posting $200 in bail.

Former Sag Harbor PTA Treasurer Admits She Stole Money

A former co-treasurer of the Sag Harbor Elementary School PTA will be required to pay $14,487 in restitution after pleading guilty to stealing over $10,000 from the group, Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond A. Tierney announced this week.
