Wed, 04/08/2020 - 21:10

An East Hampton man was charged with a felony on March 31 following a domestic dispute. Noe W. Guaman-Nieves, 32, allegedly hit a woman in the face, despite an order of protection against him.

East Hampton Town police said it happened at about 10 p.m. at a house on Oyster Shores Road. Justice Steven Tekulsky had ordered the man to refrain from harassing the victim. He was charged with first-degree criminal contempt and second-degree harassment, a violation, just before midnight, and released on his own recognizance following arraignment, by video, on April 1.

Brian T. Rivera-Aguirre, 24, of Montauk was charged with petty larceny on Saturday for allegedly stealing a John Varvatos brown leather jacket at the Clubhouse in Wainscott back on March 14. He was released on an appearance ticket.
