Jonathon Phillip Keyser of Cocoa, Fla., was charged on the evening of Aug. 28 with third-degree criminal mischief after he allegedly punched out a port-side window of a boat at the Viking Fleet dock on West Lake Drive in Montauk. Mr. Keyser, 38, caused about $1,000 in damage, police said.

Rodrigo Xottocay of East Hampton, 35, was charged with a felony after violating an order of protection on Friday night, in a domestic incident on Oakview Highway in East Hampton. Police alleged that he had grabbed a woman by the hair and kicked her in the back. He reportedly prevented the woman from contacting police, and was charged with an additional misdemeanor for that.

Neilson McKenzie of Montauk, 44, was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing, a misdemeanor, following an Aug. 30 incident at Gurney’s Inn Resort in Montauk. Police said he grabbed Camille Murphy’s neck that evening and applied pressure to it to impede her breathing. He was also charged with harassment. Meanwhile, Ms. Murphy, 32, was charged with a felony; police said she’d used her cellphone to smash Mr. McKenzie’s Vizio TV, causing $350 in damage.

Both Patrick Ficorilli, 26, and Erik Thompson, 39, residents of Sag Harbor, stand charged with grand larceny in connection with an Aug. 26 theft of a Velowave bike, valued at $1,599, from the sidewalk in front of 34 Henry Street, Sag Harbor. The pair are to appear in Sag Village Justice Court on Friday, Sept. 16, to answer for the felony charges.
