Last Saturday's Katy’s Courage daylong fund-raiser included an ice show, pickup hockey games for 10-through-14-year-olds and for adults, as well as raffles, a silent auction, and a bake sale.

Sydney Fritz added some fire to her ice show.

The winter fun, which came with appropriately chilly weather and a falling snow, benefited the Katy’s Courage Foundation, established in memory of Brigid and Jim Stewart’s daughter, who died a decade ago of a rare pediatric cancer at the age of 12.

There were hockey games for kids and adults.

Spectators oohed and ahhed as skaters showed off their moves.
