The recent introduction of paid parking in East Hampton Village has led to confusion about the use of the ParkMobile payment app.

Drivers seeking to park for two hours or less in the Reutershan or Schenck lots in East Hampton Village are not required to log into the app, and, in fact, they will be charged $10.30 if they do so. Only those seeking to park for a third hour are required to log in and pay.

A maximum of three hours of parking is allowed daily between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
