Vaccines are now widely available for those 12 and up, with physicians' offices and pharmacies offering them and Stony Brook Southampton Hospital operating a Pfizer vaccine clinic from noon to 6 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at Parrish Memorial Hall next to the hospital in Southampton. Appointments are not required. Information is at bit.ly/2Po8DrZ.

In addition, Organizacion Latino-Americana of Eastern Long Island is partnering with the Children's Museum of the East End in Bridgehampton, Stony Brook Eastern Long Island Hospital in Greenport, the First Baptist Church in Riverhead, and East Hampton Town on a series of upcoming vaccination clinics.

The first will be held Thursday from 4 to 7:30 p.m. at CMEE, where the Pfizer vaccine, approved for emergency use in people 12 and older, will be offered. The Moderna vaccine, available only to people 18 and older, will be administered on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Stony Brook Eastern Long Island Hospital. On Wednesday, the Pfizer vaccine will be offered at the First Baptist Church in Riverhead from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and on Sept. 14, OLA will partner with East Hampton Town to offer the Pfizer vaccine at the Montauk Playhouse Community Center from 4 to 8 p.m.

"We are lucky to work with high caliber health care organizations such as Northwell and Stony Brook to create vaccine PODs that not only offer access but cultural connection and communication to ensure highest possible vaccine uptake," OLA's executive director, Minerva Perez, said in a release. To date, Ms. Perez said, OLA has supported or organized over 15 vaccine opportunities "leading to more than 3,500 people receiving the vaccine."

Those who need help getting to a vaccination site can call OLA at 631-899-3441.
